We sure do miss Chrissy. Mommy misses him the most, and I do too! He doesn't spend time with us at all, and Mommy cries. When he does stop in he's so RUSHED he doesn't even LOOK at me, even when I climb right up and lick his face. He's Mommy's human pup and he's "grown up" but he used to be Mommy's best friend. He talked to her about his friends and girlfriends and the things he did and tv and movies and the news and "Seinfeld" and Jon Stewart's Daily Show and the war and politics and a kazillion other things. Mommy talks to us now, and we like the sound of her voice but we can't talk back, only love her. Mommy needs her human being back in her life. Xander remembers Denise. She was Chrissy's girlfriend a looong time ago. She liked Mommy and used to come and visit and hang out and watch tv with Mommy, even when Chrissy didn't, and Mommy says Denise is the last person to see the "real" Chrissy alive, so she'll always feel a connection to Denise. Now it's just us and Mommy and we can take care of her but we can't take Chrissy's place. I wonder if there's anything I can do to bring him home again.
